Presentation of Madagascar in UK

I was asked to present Madagascar to a group of People in London,UK with different nationalities; Spanish,English, Jamaica,Russian,Iranian,American,Norwegian,Irish and Italian.
The presentation was a success; the audience was surprised about Madagascar-"Wow, we always thought Madagascar is all jungle like in the movie." I do blame the elite with the means at their disposal  for failing to promote the country. How could a country fail to market itself??
This blog will continue its noble cause it started of marketing Madagascar by any means necessary.

Southern Madagascar

This post takes you to the southern part of southern Madagascar to give you a snapshot of what to see. There's so much to see and that's why its better to give you a rough picture of the region. As you are now already aware, Madagascar is such a vast country with different cultures, landscape, etc. Having taken sometime without witting any post on this blog, I thought that I make it short and let the visuals speak for themselves.

The Struggling Culture of Madagascar

The Cultural sector in Madagascar in spite of its potential, is suffering a shortage of support from the political class and the world. Thus, there's an identity crisis. what we have in place, is a Hollywood promotion of something that has not portrayed the real Madagascar- If you were to search Google for Madagascar (images), you would instead be bombarded with Madagascar the Movie visuals. Is this good or Bad??

Its bad as it encourages the authority to neglect the cultural sector of Madagascar. however, Madagascar the Movie has also indirectly promoted Madagascar-makers of the movie, should come to the rescue of the real Madagascar. I think Madagascar deserves some sort of share in the proceeds from the movie.

Featured Madagascar Musician: Tence Mena ,

At  the age 30 and a mother of two, this singer who goes by the name of Tence Mena, is a rising star in Madagascar and has conquered the public hearts with her unique and niche style as compared with most Malagasy artists that tend to look similar. Maybe, this can be attributed to her living abroad, France for a couple of years.
